High point..well, gee...I'm a Kiss lover from way back so...but icky, these guys are like what...58-59 wearing those platform shoes!

Another low point...ugh, Rod Stewart...in his Tartan plaid jacket, looking like he could seizure at any moment!

Sarver and White Girl Dancing Meghan Joy, doing the Steve Martin number was another goofy number!

Oh and didn't Kris sound good with Keith Urban!

And Kara has awesome abs...surely she's never had kids!?

Yeh, it's my birthday and I am NOT going to be spending it like I had hoped. Mr. H and I were,..WERE going to see Star Trek on a big azz IMAX screen but wouldn't you know it...of ALL the days they are NOT showing it (for some UNGODLY reason)...it's MY DAY!

So we hafta' wait 'til tomorrow.

So here I am, sitting at my computer...another year older...griping about a horrid season of American Idol. Truly hoping next year will be better.

I still think Adam will win but ya' know... I was kind of shocked on DWTStars when Shawn won the glitzy disco ball. I know Cheryl and Gilles were!! They were like:

So anything is possible...remember two words...TAYLOR HICKS! You just never know what is possessing America!

You know, if Kris does win..I hafta' admit..if I think about it...I will be surprised. I might even be shocked. It's like a dent in your car...you expect it's going to happen but still a shock when it does happen!

I guess if I had to put money on someone...it'd have to be Adam.

ADDENDUM Tues. May 19th/11:08pm: OMFREAKINGOD...will this show ever end????? You mean I have to finish watching it on my birthday evening???? Kara's song was like my son's feet....stink ass!!!! Horrible...not even her cohorts (judges) could think of anything really good to say about it. Not even ADAM sounded good singing it...yeh, THAT fucked up! And poor Kris...didn't stand a flippin' chance with it!

My fiance, youngest and I watched it last night. I went around the room and polled everyone. Mr. H said he wanted Adam to go home but that it might be in all actuality, Danny.

Daughter said, "Danny's going to get kicked off."

They turned to me..."Well,..I'm not REAL sure but I have a feeling it won't, WON'T be Kris!"

Danny got kicked off. We cheered! Why? Because we felt he was FREE (see: "the Daughtry" experience of '06!") He will have a CD out in a year -although it wouldn't surprise me if it's a Christian music CD.

Now it seems like David against Goliath.

I think Kris will take it.

Just a reminder..Rubble the Blogstrologer "predicted" Kris would be saved. And she again looks into her "crystal ball" and the image is a bit foggy but I do believe it's "David" who slays Goliath-bert and gets showered in confetti.

Kris gets a lukewarm response from the public for his freshman offering in the way of a CD and his 15 mins of fame is up.

Glambert goes on to become UberGlambert and stars as Frank N. Furter on an off off broadway version of R.H.P.Show!

I can say no more-my ball is clouding over! I need more coffee, apparently! Hee hee!

Kris..not so good with the first song which I didn't know but my daughters, ages 18 and 22 did and they said, it was pretty good, better than the original. Kara and Randy picked it for him.

Second song choice, he went with Kanye West's "Heartless" and again, old fart mom here didn't know it but the girls gave it four thumbs up.

Adam had Simon choose for him, "One" by U2...this may get me killed but I don't know the song. But my fiance loves U2 and said it was "o.k." (He doesn't care for Adam at all,.."All he does is scream!")

Adams' own choice of song was Aerosmith's "Crying". We all put bets down before we knew his choice.."

"$100,000 says he'll stick out his tongue." (my bet...I won! KA-CHING!)

Fiance said,.."$100k if he screams!" DONE!

Oldest spawn said,..."I win $100k if it's a rock song." (Check that box...but then the "ROCK" t-shirt might have given it away..oh yeh, it was a SPARKLY ROCK T-SHIRT at that!")

And my young one mentioned $100k if Adam smiles demurely at the judges and mouths, ..."thank you!"

YAY, we were all winners!

Finale is the day before my big 4-7....can't wait to have this over with...I hafta' admit...this season has just seemed interminable. Is it just me?



Danny did a Terrence Trent Darby song I had never heard of or hadn't in like 16 years (I liked that CD of his with the song, Wishing Well on it.) And Paula picked it out. It was o.k. and then his choice was Joe Cocker's "You Are So Beautiful" very nice rendition. I didn't know it was written by Billy Preston..."Nothin' From Nothin' Leaves Nothin'" ....anyhoo..

Oh and let me say here and now..I will NOT be surprised if Adam is voted out. It would also not surprise me if America votes for their sweet Kris. From an astrological standpoint (insert Rubble's Blogstrology here! Humor me, will ya'!) The Moon is in Capricorn and the opposite sign is Cancer...Kris is a Cancer and so is America! (July 4th, 1776)

And because the planet Mercury is Retrograde...it wouldn't surprise me if things with the telephone lines go a bit haywire (Mercury, that little imp, when he's appearing to go backwards, tends to fuck up anything having to do with communications, traveling and commerce.)

I could be all bass ackwards....it won't be the first time.
