I broke a promise I made to myself...I was ONLY GOING TO VOTE ONCE per SHOW!! But the Davids were neck and neck in my book so I voted twice!

David Cook was great tonite!

Lil' Davy Archul...whatever his name is... was wonderful...and quite the video trail he leaves all OVER youtube. He plays the piano too. Now if America doesn't tire of his aww shucks Melinda Doolittle attitude, he might sail through to the very end. I think America's collective consciousness IS looking for someone who represents youth and hope and change. I could be wrong.

Chikezi knocked my socks off! He comes in second place! You had to love that song he chose...I know I did because I'm someone that everyone and their mother has misspelled their name! Always giving me two "L"s and my last name is a challenge as well.

I'm playing judge...I am grading them according to:

Visual Presentation (how good they look, fashionable, true to their own style etc..

Vocal Performance..."pitchy"...."cruise shippy! " off key, sharp....karaoke'ish!

Song Choice...good one for them, or too out of character, not authentic etc...

Projection...are the reaching the back of the room or performing as if they were in a closet (I am a fair singer...but from my dance performance days, I know very much about "projection"

Poise/Confidence...self explanatory..did they look like they were in control or ready to shit their pants!

Would I down load their song?

Would I youtube their performance.

They can get a possible 35 points.

First off the surprise for me was Colton going home! Did not expect him...thought for sure they'd send Lemon Squeezy home (or "Chakuzzi" has Simon likes to call him!)...and poor Peter Frampton Jr., boy, did he get the bum's rush!

But here now is my PICK OF THE WEEK...this kid...ai ai ai lil' PAPI! Man, if I were 20 years younger or he was 20 years older! And I never, NEVER liked dreads! Just goes to show, you CAN teach an old dog a new trick!!
