The other day I had someone pm to ask if they could do the charts of the judges! I said no because I didn't have the time of births BUT I told her I could do a mini chart on each in relation to what they project to us on tv! I'm using their sun sign (ego) moon (emotions) and Mercury (communication style) and finally, Venus (their heart!) So,..just for fun:
THE JUDGES!
Simon Cowell, born October 7, 1959 in Brighton, East Sussex England.
His Sun is in Libra which means he is a pretty balanced person. He is even tempered and deliberates over his thoughts. You can see by his judging style that while he tends to tell it like it is (caused by his blunt Sagittarian Moon sign) he is fair. He has a nice modulation to his voice and never a wasted word. Even when Paula interrupts him, he'll gently tell her to shut up or put a hand on her arm. He doesn't blow up or walk away in disgust, he calmly keeps proceeding with whatever it is he is saying even when the audience goes ballistic behind him!
His Moon sign tells another story! It's in fiery, caustic and less than diplomatic Sagittarian. Perhaps in his personal life he's a little less reserved? Or else he still maintains this calm demeanor but he definitely let's people know where he stands and where they stand with him! If you don't want to hear the truth, don't ask a Sagittarius! They can be so blunt, that they are brutal. But sometimes the emperor DOES need to be told "HEY MAN, YOU BUTT NEKKID!"
His communication style once again confirms that he DOES in fact express himself with measured, controlled words (Mercury in Libra). He weighs everything he says. He is a very cerebral person and one to be reckoned with. This is one man you would have a hard time out-thinking, outwitting! Outsmarting. He's on to you.
His planet of love, Venus was in critical, analytical, detail oriented Virgo. Not the most touchy feely of signs to have Venus reside in! He's a pragmatic person who will definitely have his intended sign a prenup!! It's all about the bottom line with him. But once he marries, I see him staying married for awhile, as long as his wife gives him a LONG leash! His Moon in Sag. demands independence and inner (and outer) freedom. (I know, I have Moon in Sag. too!
)
And now onto Paula Coral Abdul born June 19 1962 in San Francisco. A glib, hyper active, chatty Gemini! You can tell she's the Gemini of the group when she can't seem to shut up! She's the one that is on her feet dancing along with the singing! She beams and we feel her charm. She's likeable. That's a Gemini.
Her Moon sign is in practical Capricorn (but only by 8 degrees-born a few days before, she could have had a Sag. Moon like Simon AND Randy!) Deep down she's not as flippant or superficial as she appears in public. She is practical and she too thinks about the bottom line. Capricorns guard their hearts, again Capricorn isn't the warm and fuzziest of signs and as you know, she's going on 46 but has only spent 2 years married. She'd much rather hang with her chihuahuas! When she felt her career slide, the protective, pragmatic Capricorn got down to bizniz and reinvented itself! She's constantly trying new things because after all...it's all about the $$$$. The Gemini in her likes the spotlight but the Capricorn in her knows to save for a rainy day.
Her communication style is all Gemini...she runneth over at the mouth! She's not great with details all the time and sometimes her brain works faster than her mouth and we can see that when she's trying to come up with things to say about a particular contestant. She needs to slow down and think about what she's going to say or write it down. But well,...she's a Gemini...it's just her style when it comes to communication.
Her planet of love is in proud, dramatic Leo. You can tell by the way she gushes over a contestant. She truly feels a connection of the heart. She IS proud of these people. She can't help but be demonstrative about it. She's got flair! And I can tell you, her pets are the the world's most spoiled pets! When a Leo loves you, it's all or nothing!!! Very ardent!
Last but not least, Randall Darius Jackson, born in Baton Rouge on June 23, 1956. He's a sensitive, caring Cancer! When he starts off his critique with a stream of "check it out"'s what he's doing is trying to soften the blow! He's sympathetic especially being a musician himself. Cancer is the nurturer of the zodiac, the "mother" if you will and he really feels their fear, their pain, their elation! He's receptive and he actually would make a great mentor if he wasn't on the show.
His planet of emotions, MOON was in Sagittarius just like his cohort, Simon. He too likes his independence and freedom to do what he likes and think what he likes to think. Sagittarius is also a broad minded thinker who accepts a vast spectrum of experiences. Even when he's not super keen on a person's song choice, he usually finds something in the performance to like and appreciate. He is just as tell it like it is as Simon (how many times does he say, "I'm just keeping it real!") but he has his own more verbal style and that is from his Mercury in Gemini. (Which he and Paula have in common and you can tell because of the three, two of them are more chatty in their criticisms and compliments.)
Sometimes I think Simon should be in the middle to help break up the Mercury in Gemini domination! A level headed Libra in the middle!!! But that wouldn't be any fun!
Finally, Randy's planet of Love, Venus, can be found in again, the very nurturing, caring, sympathetic sign of Cancer. He, like Paula really do care about the young people on stage and when they go down in flames or hit the heights, he feels it.
So the next time you watch the show, you'll know why the judges do what they do! They can't help it,...it's written in the stars!
