Jason....you know why he isn't taken seriously or why Simon asked whether or not he's taking it seriously (the competition) because unfortunately, by nature, he's an easy going guy. He has this natural, "aww shucks" kind of temperament. If he acted any OTHER way, we'd think he wasn't being authentic. We'd see right through him.

Which leads me to the winner (in my mind, THE winner of it all if he doesn't get kicked out like Chris did a few years back...)

David Cook who did a ballad/rocker ballad version of Billie Jean!!!! (By Michael Jackson!) talk about sheer genius!!!??? Unfortunately his performance is not up on youtube yet. But it was FANTASTIC!!!!!

I'm in total agreement with my gal pals, Heather and Belle...how on EARTH did Kristy slip through the fucking net again??? Because she's so thin!!??? Just kidding! But come on people...what is the fascination???

AMANDA goes but she stays. Not that I would see "the tour" but I sure as hell would look forward to the tour MORE knowing Amanda was going to be performing!! Kristy...OMG....

FINALLY!!!!!... my 1965 photo of me and my Beatles hair cut (what were you thinking mom...I WAS A GIRLLLLL! ) and playin' what was no doubt "She Loves You" on my wind up Barbie guitar seems appropriate to display!! I suspect I might have been crooning such a song because my parents, esp. mom LOVED the Beatles and that was one of my fav. songs circa '65!

Anyhow...back to last night. I got lazy, didn't have the phone near by so I didn't vote. BUT had I...it would have been Chikezie-man, didn't he change up that song in a good way...it was like ATL Dirty South come to town!

My other fav. was David Cook...oh I can sooo see him in the final three..if not two!!!

You know what I've found...when I watch the show again, or more than watch, LISTEN to it while I'm working out..I find I have a better opinion of most of them! EXCEPT I hated last nite and I hated this afternoon Kristy's absolute vomit-inducing version of "8 Days A Week" I wonder if Lennon is rolling in his grave?

Did you see the reaction to getting canned? Asia'h's!!??? WOW, talk about one unhappy camper. And to be honest, I wasn't happy either. I thought, if I had to lose out to that pinched face, moderately ok sounding singer with NO charisma, Kristy Lee Cook. Man, I would have been just as dour.

I however do wish losers would bow out more gracefully ....get ready for the real world of the music industry (we could also say, LIFE)...rejection at every turn!

I was pleasantly surprised to see David the stripper still in there but I don't see him lasting more than two more rounds.

Finally were down to our 12...let's get rolling now!
