An observation, Simon is very adored by many many fans. Could she have gotten the boot because she argued with him when he told her that she was going to get boring because she wouldn't try anything different? That was a very telling critique because I think he was right. She sounds the same no matter what she does.

I had him pegged to win the whole thing. I was SO disappointed, but it was best for him. Look at him now? If he had of won, he would've been tied to them for a year. This actually worked out much better for Chris.
I was shocked Carly was in the bottom 3. I was sure Kristy would go....
But when I saw her lip syncing (again, just speculation on my part) I thought...it's true, the girl is raucous and bluesy and down to earth BUT in regards to this show, she has little range.
So I worried a bit about her.
And now we say...buhbye! She's going to get more gigs now...I don't worry about her.
