What can I say, the guy has it..he IS the total package...no one comes close in my estimation for being as radio and commercial market ready.
I was a teensy worried when I found out there would be a Mariah Carey week all together. I'm a semi fan, I appreciate her talent and all that but I couldn't imagine what the guys would sing! Especially David and Jason.
And the first few bars were a bit nerve wracking; I wasn't sure which way he was going to go with it and it sounded dicey. But then he hit his stride!
And then I said,..."try and beat that Jason!"
And in an apples and oranges kind of way, I think he damn well kept up! I'd down load both tunes...if I was so inclined...

I actually only got to hear David Cook and Jason last night. David was definitely "IT". I was surprised that Simon actually liked Jason's performance when Randy didn't. The gals are always disappointing me and it detracts from the show when I have to listen to them so I'm glad I didn't tune in until Cook's performance. DAT BOI IS COOKIN WID GAS!!!!!!!!!!!!
yeah...I was just commenting to my son last night that Archuletta always looks like if someone says 'boo' he'll wet his pants. He hasn't matured enough to be where he is...and he really needs to work on his breathing technique! He's got the pipes but there is no way I can see him as some rock star.
And didn't you just want to be the one on stage wiping Cook's tears away for him?

I KNOW SHERRY..I was like WHA'? Randy...it was a beautiful performance...and Paula's comeback was priceless..."that's one luau I'd like to be at and listen to him sing all (fucking) night long!" (or words to that effect...I added the f bomb!)

Oh and yeh, the tears...where did they come from? But yeh, I'd jump up and hug them away. David gets more attractive to me each week. I hated his beady little eyes and his hair in the beginning...

Asthmatic... Every week I tell my kids I can't stand to listen to him talk cuz it sounds like he has a deviated septum or something...Or just use some nasal spray and blow it out! And leather pants? ehhhhhhhh...no. He didn't really pull that off.
