I predicted this would be a bad week (not a big fan of the "Diamond")
But I just knew this one would fall flat and in my estimation this show did. A lot of eggs were laid...and if there is an IDOL God,...Castro will be summarily released back into the wild where a band of young and old Amazons will carry him off and make him their head Kahuna or something (with his ukulele in tow, 'natch!)
You know it's a bad show when 1.) Castro makes an excuse for his poor performance...he usually takes shit in stride, without a comment.
2.) Lil' David's voice cracks
3.) Paula mistakingly critiques a singer's second song when he hasn't even SANG IT YET!!!! (someone, check her coca-cola cup STAT!)
4.) Not even David Cook can pull this particular show outta' the dumper.
Only my opinions friends...only my HUMBLE opinion.
Not one performer made me sit up, take notice, cause the hair on my arms to stand on end...nuffin'.....
In fact it was so bad...no one gets my PICK O THE WEEK. Instead I leave you with something with much more flair and drama...Christian and Cheryl from last night's Dancing With The Stars...where at some point in the dance Christian's masturbating arm, gives out on him and he goes limp...on top of Cheryl....(thought it'd be more exciting than anybody's performance tonite.

As a former dancer and dance teacher, I look at Shannon and think...what a hard working "adult dancer"....not schooled in dance but giving it her best shot and Derrick has been an incredible teacher, bringing out her best which is what we as teachers aim for....we take the clay in front of us and hopefully help to create something magical! Shannon was not an easy lump of clay...sexy as hell body but very gangly and colt-like.
But boy does she look good for 34! She looks like she's 23 or something!

I had to TiVo the show last night. Hubby was dragging me around stores. Haven't had a chance to watch it yet. I thought maybe they could pull out some good performances from old Neil's songs...I guess I was wrong?

I missed the first half, but still caught the "replays" on the ones who sang before I tuned in.
Yep, "hair boy" HAS to go!
Considering, the rest of them did pretty well. I heard Arch crack that note.... Sayesha actually did good on her 2nd one. Brooke did great on her piano one too.
Maybe next week will be better & more entertaining....

While doing my treadmill today I TRIED, I ATTEMPTED to watch the opening number last night...whoever thought Neil Diamond would be good material.... So I got up to the part where Dreads massacred Crackin' Rosie and I threw up in my mouth a little but forged ahead at 6.0 elevation and 3.9 speed and then came BROOKE obliterating whatever song it was she was trying to perform and I again said NO MAS....TIO MIO!!!!
I stopped watching and broke into a sprint to run away from the bad singing.
