I admit, I got a little lump in my throat and a tear in my eye when I watched the three finalist go back to their home towns!
I recognized the Skyway Bridge Syesha crossed to get to her hometown of Sarasota...recognized downtown Sarasota (lovely city.)
I used to live north of her in St. Pete.
Sarasota...beautiful beaches by the way!
Well...it's David C against Pampers! I swear if he wins and shits, I stand firm...there will be NO clean up on aisle 7 for RUBBLE!
I will say this...both singers have shown the utmost in dignity and grace under pressure. Respectful of judges comments and appreciative of the screaming mimi's in the front rows!!
That's where the clean up needs to happen after each show! Bring out the mops and buckets!!
I didn't get to hear them this week, but I was sad to hear Sayesha left. She's really come a long way.
David Cook SHOULD win this hands down, but I'm afraid that there are too many 12-14 year olds who will be wearing out their cell phones texting for Arch.
Don't get me wrong, the boy can sing. He's just not mature enough for the title.

I have never voted for an American Idol candidate in my life.... but I MAY have to vote for Mr. Cook this time around....I REALLY want him to win this thing, no one is more deserving. (Other than Micheal Johns that is!!)

I really hope that David Cook wins but this is the first time I really am not sure who is going to win. Both of them are so popular!! I think Archuletta can sing but I can't imagine what he would be singing on the radio. Cook seems ready to release an album and I know exactly how it would sound. Hopefully all of the little girls that vote for Archuletta have early bedtimes that night and can't vote!! :)
I am so glad that it's the Davids in the top 2. I admit, I really wanted this to be David C. and Carlie, but David A. is also a very good singer... Though he could never beat David Cook!!! He will be totally poned!!!

I wasn't surprised by any of it. However, I WILL be surprised if Archie wins the whole party. Cook deserves it...even IF he tried out on a whim. Wouldn't that be cool if his brother Andrew made it to the show next year? Then again, it might be better if David and his brother just team up and do their music together.
Archie needs more seasoning time. I can't see him being ready at all for the whole thing that would come with winning.

We'll just have to wait & see....
I REALLY had hoped Michael was going to be in the last three. And I was looking forward to a Michael/Dave face off.
Oh well...
GO COOK!
I voted twice in my life...both times for Mr. Cook.
I'm going to vote next time...we have got to fight the army of prepubes with cell phones!
COUGARS FOR COOK!!! LOL!!! RISE UP AND SEIZE CONTROL!!!!
DOWN WITH TEENYBOPPERS WITH CELL PHONES!!!

Brooke has a cd out for sale on line.
So I don't worry about any of them.
I actually would find David hard to market...he's too goody goody!
And again, I must repeat...David A...never ever use the word "boo" again!!!
Well, it'll be an exciting birthday nite for me!
How sad is that! Woo hoo...my 46th bday and I'm spending it watching Am Idol and that's my highlight!
Oh well, it's not like I'm turning 13 or 16, 21 or 30 or 50 or...
some special number...
just 4-6
